As it turns out, during his heated exchange with Kevin Durant, Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors also mentioned a name of a teammate, bringing a brand new controversial twist to the story.

As reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic, Green dropped the name of a Warriors bench player — specifically a big man during his confrontation with Durant.

“Don’t talk to me and come at me like I’m ______,” Green said, mentioning the name of a Warriors rotation big man here, per sources. “… I’ve won before you came.”

After their argument, the team suspended Draymond Green for one game for “conduct detrimental to the team.” Though it felt as if the suspension was handed out to cool down their heads, the brand new piece of information reveals that Green lashed out on the whole squad.

While some Golden State fans are confident that they will easily go over this hump soon, given this new information, it seems that there's more to it than just a typical in-game feud.

Draymond Green is known to be the vocal leader of the Warriors. One can never discredit his impact on the Warriors' three championships over the last four years. It's his intensity that guides the team. But in this recent incident, it seems that Green's emotional outburst might have negatively affected their chemistry.

At the beginning of the season, the Warriors were favorites in winning another championship and completing the three-peat. And if they don't smoothen up this rough patch now, the championship might soon be up for grabs.
