The Golden State Warriors are enjoying yet another great season. Their 42-16 overall record is currently good for the best mark in the NBA, and they continue to light up scoreboards. In fact, the Dubs have scored 125 or more points in 21 games during this campaign. According to Justin Kubatko of StatMuse, that's the most by any team since the 1990-91 season:

The Warriors have won six of their last seven games, including Thursday night's 125-123 victory over the Sacramento Kings. As he often does, Stephen Curry was making it rain from beyond the arc. The former Davidson standout scored 36 points, hitting 10 3-pointers. His teammate, All-Star Kevin Durant, sent back a whopping seven shots, which tied his career high:

“Kevin was tremendous in every aspect, the energy, the cutting, the aggressiveness,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told ESPN after Thursday's game. “Defensively, he was all over the place. He was really on his game tonight in every way.”

Golden State is an explosive team on the offensive end of the floor. Several members of the team are dangerous threats from the perimeter. Currently, the Warriors have three players averaging 20 or more points per game (Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson). DeMarcus Cousins, who recently recovered from an Achilles injury, is averaging 14.2 points.

The Warriors are leading the NBA in several statistical categories, including field goal percentage (49 percent), assists (29.5 per game) and points scored (118.9 per game). On the defensive end of the floor, Golden State is leading the league in blocked shots per contest (6.6).

With no signs of regression, it seems the Warriors will once again be the team to beat in the postseason. Let's see if they can keep their momentum rolling.
