The four-year rivalry between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors is now etched as a part of NBA history, but LeBron James' personal mission to dethrone the back-to-back champions surely isn't.

James' Los Angeles Lakers will face the Warriors in two marquee matchups on Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Day, the NBA announced Wednesday.

This will mark the fourth straight time James has faced the Warriors on both of those dates, starting with the 2015-16 season.

Coming off four grueling trips to the NBA Finals, the Warriors will see a familiar foe twice as often now, as Golden State will gear up to face James and the Lakers four times in the regular season, likely also crossing paths as part of the Western Conference playoffs.

There couldn't be a better treat for NBA fans, as James will get to renew his rivalry with Kevin Durant and the Warriors, this time donning purple and gold.
