After going against him for so many years, Kelly Oubre Jr. has finally gotten the chance to play alongside Draymond Green. The newly-acquired Golden State Warriors wing has played now three games with the former Defensive Player of the Year. And it didn't take Oubre too long to claim Green as “the most dog” that he has ever played with in his career so far.

“Draymond is by far the most dog that I’ve played with other than myself so I’m really excited to continue to grow with him.”

As much praise as Oubre is giving Green, he also received the same from Golden State's heart and soul. Green gave props for the energy that the 25-year old has brought on the defensive end and how he's been able to disrupt the flow of the opposing team's offense.
“It’s been fantastic. Playing with him and the energy that he’s bringing on the ball the most last couple of nights has really screwed up the other teams offense.”

As Green mentioned, the Warriors have assigned Oubre to guard the other team's best perimeter defender. He did a solid job in slowing down Sacramento Kings star De'Aaron Fox on Monday, and did the same with Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard.
It's certainly tough going up against the best perimeter players in the NBA night in and night out. Nonetheless, Oubre seems to have embraced the role and looks to bring the intensity to try to be a disruptor on the defensive end.
Tsunami Papi finally broke out of his funk in Golden State's 137-106 route of Sacramento. The 6-foot-7 lefty scored a season-high 18 points and nailed four 3-pointers after starting the season 2-of-30 from beyond the arc.
Meanwhile, Draymond Green's return has certainly helped organize a messy start to the Warriors' 2020-21 campaign. The 3-time All-Star has been instrumental in directing traffic for the Dubs on the offensive end, telling guys where to get to their spots, and creating scoring opportunities for them with his playmaking. Of course, he has also been an anchor for Golden State on the other end of the floor.
