Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant had an interesting response when asked how he views himself among the all-time greats in NBA history.

“I don’t believe I’m better than anyone,” Durant said, according to Mark Medina of The Mercury News. “But I don’t believe anyone is better than me. That’s how a lot of people feel.”

That's a very diplomatic statement by Durant, but it's a very good one. Essentially, he is saying that he sees himself on the same level as everyone else who has played the game.

Obviously, Durant is one of the best players of all-time. He is one of the best scorers this game has ever seen, he has developed into a very good defender and he is a two-time NBA champion and a two-team NBA Finals MVP.

So, Durant absolutely has the resume you would expect from an all-time great.

Of course, there will be those that will criticize him for joining a 73-win Warriors team during the summer of 2016, taking “the easy road” to his first championships, but 20 to 30 years from now, we will probably focus more on Durant's greatness and the fact that he did win multiple titles rather than the route he took to get to that point.

The 30-year-old is getting set to play in his 10th straight All-Star Game and is also aiming to win his third consecutive NBA title this June.

Durant will then become a free agent in July, and many feel that he will be taking his talents elsewhere for next season.
