Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson is continuing to work hard as he eyes a return to the hardwood after two years removed from the NBA. He's on the road to recovery from an Achilles tear and in the process, Klay is having a little fun.

The Warriors sharpshooter took to social media on Saturday during practice to film himself taking a wild trick shot:

Thompson even shouted out Jackie Moon, the character from the classic film Semi-Pro, which stars Will Ferrell. What a shot though. Literally all net, too. The Warriors will be highly anticipating the arrival of Klay back in the lineup after a rather disappointing season in 2020/21.

They missed out on the playoffs after the Memphis Grizzlies beat them in the Play-In tournament. However, Steph Curry had a year for the ages as he won the scoring title with 32 points per game. It's clear though that Golden State needs Thompson's presence if they're going to get back into title contention.

The Warriors will likely make some moves in Free Agency to add some more pieces around Steph, Klay, and Draymond Green as well. It's good to see Thompson having fun with his rehab but once the season rolls around, it'll be all business for him and the Dubs as they look to return to the postseason.
