Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson can do whatever Klay Thompson wants. When you're a three-time NBA champion, one of the best shooters in NBA history, and a bad man on the basketball court, it doesn't matter what you look like. Fittingly, Thompson is sporting a new bearded look.

Klay has played with a beard before, but he usually keeps it trimmed up and tight. This version of his beard is a bit more laidback and unkempt. It is a little more “Summer Klay.” It looks like Klay is growing the hair out a little bit too.
Klay will probably clean up his facial hair before the season begins but even if he doesn't, he's still going to go out and light it up this season. He'll have his usual stats and help the Warriors cruise into the playoffs. He'll shoot well above 40 percent from deep and average his 20 points per game.
Thompson is entering a contract year and there's no guarantee that he decides to stay with the Golden State Warriors. Many feel that Klay can be the focal point of a winning team or at the very least, the number two option on a legitimate championship contender.
The Los Angeles Lakers should have the cap space to sign Thompson next summer and linking up with LeBron James could be exactly what's needed to unseat the Warriors. It would make for a great story, but that's still a long way off.
Until then, fans can wonder whether or not Klay will come into the season with his new look.
