Andrew Bogut's return to the Golden State Warriors brings more than a trusty handcuff to DeMarcus Cousins as the team heads to the playoffs, as he has proven to be a great teammate, a valued mentor and an all-around fun guy to be around. Kevon Looney and Klay Thompson are two guys who can attest to his fun-loving nature:

“He’s got that great, a**hole sense of humor,” said Looney, according to Ethan Strauss of The Athletic.

“He’s got a great, dry sense of humor,” Thompson said of their dynamic. “Very sarcastic.”

Much like Looney, Thompson believes Bogut's greatest strength is at the mentorship side, able to teach bigs like Jordan Bell, Damian Jones and the aforementioned some valuable tricks of the trade:

“He just brings back some mentorship, especially some young bigs,” Klay said. “He’s such a good post defender and cerebral center. He can make every pass, block shots, run the floor. I think he’ll bring a lot of knowledge, which we’ll need.”

Besides the Xs and Os, Bogut brings something different that additions like Jonas Jerebko, Alfonzo McKinnie and Cousins haven't been able to bring: familiarity.

It's that dry, sarcastic and almost dark “a**hole” sense of humor that can bring the spark the Warriors have so badly needed as a source of motivation for what could be a fifth straight trip to the NBA Finals.

Having missed out on that experience in the last two seasons, Bogut could bring that fire that Golden State has so sorely missed throughout the bulk of this season.
