San Francisco, CA – The red hot Golden State Warriors have it all going. Defensively and offensively, they are arguably the best team in the NBA this season. A 6-1 start has people thinking about an NBA championship, and Steve Kerr knows the secret to their early ascension.

Thompson hasn't played in an NBA game in over 800 days. His last game played was in the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors in 2019. Thats when he suffered the first of two season-ending injuries. Now he's weeks away from being able to return to the court, and the level of excitement is so strong you can feel it when he's around.
Everyone from teammates, Warriors fans, and even opposing team players light up every time they see Thompson working out. No matter who you are, you will be happy to see Thompson back on the court.
That's, of course, until he's standing in a Warriors uniform across from you. At that point, only his team will be happy he's there.
Thompson is one of the most fearless competitors in the NBA. If he returns as the same player he once was, the Warriors are indeed championship contenders. That's why Steve Kerr and the rest of the squad are feeling great about this season.
