Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson continues to make progress in his recovery from a torn right Achilles tendon. In fact, as he continues his rehab, he was able to join the team as they traveled to Texas.

It is Thompson's first time to join the Warriors on the road, which is certainly a significant development on his recovery.

Of course, it doesn't mean Klay Thompson will be returning this 2020-21 season. After all, he has already been ruled out for the entirety of the 2020-21 campaign and it's unlikely the Dubs will rush him back given the back-to-back injuries he suffered over the past two seasons.

To recall, Thompson missed all of the 2019-20 season as he was recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee. The Warriors star suffered the severe leg injury during the 2019 NBA Finals against the eventual champions Toronto Raptor.

Despite that, the fact that Klay is now able to join the Warriors on the road is certainly a big step in his recovery.

With Thompson out, the 11-10 Warriors have been relying on his Splash Bro. Stephen Curry to keep the team afloat. Steph is averaging  28.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.1 assists  for the Dubs, all while shooting 46.9 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from deep. Aside from him, Andrew Wiggins has also been sensation for Golden State with 20.1 points per game average.

Rookie James Wiseman has been big for the Dubs, while Draymond Green's leadership continues to keep the team together despite their up-and-down start to the 2020-21 campaign.
