Golden State Warriors big man Marquese Chriss admitted that he was ‘mad' after seeing Draymond Green's hard fall during their game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Per Wes Goldberg of The Mercury News, Chriss seems to be fed up with the spate of injuries that have plagued the Warriors in the young 2019-20 season.

“I was mad. Just seems like that's the type of thing that's been happening… But Draymond's a soldier.”

Green revealed that he suffered an elbow bruise but says that it's nothing serious. The Warriors have yet to release an official statement of Green's status. As such, the actual severity of the injury has yet to be determined. He may or may not miss some games due to this.

Chriss' sentiments are valid. The Warriors — once the most dominant team in the last five years — are now one of the worst teams in the league. This is in large part due to injuries. Klay Thompson is expected to be out for the entire season. Stephen Curry injured his hand earlier this month and is expected to be out for at least three months. Green has been in and out of action while Kevon Looney has only played a single game this season.

But against the Grizzlies, the Warriors have more reasons to celebrate than pity themselves. After all, they won convincingly, 114-95. Chriss himself dropped 17 points and six rebounds. Alec Burks chipped in 29 points and nine assists, while Glen Robinson III had 20 points.
