Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry joined a peaceful protest in Palo Alto on Saturday, during which he reiterated his well-known distaste for the current U.S. president.

Donald Trump has got to go,” the three-time Warriors champion was recorded chanting with his fellow Bay Area protesters.

Curry has made his feelings about Trump clear since September 2017 when he explained why he had no interest in accepting an invitation to the White House. As Steph noted at the time, the Warriors “don’t stand” for what the President has and hasn't said during critical moments — with the Charlottesville riot and Trump's handling of it still fresh.

“…By acting and not going, hopefully that will inspire some change when it comes to what we tolerate in this country and what is accepted and what we turn a blind eye to. It’s not just the act of not going there. There are things you have to do on the back end to actually push that message into motion,” the Warriors sharpshooter said at the time.

For his part, Donald Trump quickly rescinded Curry's invitation.

Stephen Curry also attended a protest in Oakland on Wednesday with Warriors teammates Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney and Damion Lee. The protest was held at Lake Merritt, about three miles from where the original Black Panther party was formed.
