Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard has made waves with offseason — not with his ruthless shot-making, but with his punchy delivery on his newest rap album: Big D.O.L.L.A. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors may have been the cause for his playoff exit, but he's just as big a fun of Lillard's mic work as most others around league circles, showing respect for the All-Star by putting the cover of his newly-released album on his Instagram.

Curry is far from the only Warrior to enjoy Lillard' music, as teammate Draymond Green has also shouted out his work when it came out three days ago.

There's a few players in the NBA who enjoy rapping in their free time, but Lillard has taken it from a hobby to a very serious pursuit of a career in music, having now released three albums since joining the NBA and with great critical acclaim.

The opening track to Big D.O.L.L.A. — “Sorry” features verses from Lil Wayne, who has admired his work and collaborated with him before in his previous two albums. He's also had other notables like Jeremih on a song that is expected to be one of his singles: “Money Ball.”

Lillard's tour and concert life is often brief due to his busy basketball career, but his concerts have gained plenty of traction in the last three seasons, making the opportunities to see him live rather few, but worthy ones.
