Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry couldn't contain his happiness after watching Eric Paschall lead the Dubs to a gritty win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Warriors took down Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and the Blazers, 127-118, behind Paschall's monster 34-point, 13-rebound outing. The 23-year-old rookie played 34 minutes and was efficient throughout, shooting 57.9 percent from the field, 66.7 percent from deep and 100 percent from the charity stripe.

Even more remarkable, Paschall and the Warriors dominated the game even without their stars, with Curry (hand), D'Angelo Russell (ankle), Draymond Green (finger) and Klay Thompson (knee) all out due to injuries.

Curry took to social media to express his delight to the team's win while also congratulating Paschall for the massive performance.

Heading to the game against the Blazers, the Warriors were at 1-5 and on a three-game losing skid. Unfortunately, the odds were stacked against them given the injuries. In fact, fans and experts alike have counted them out of playoff contention given the absence of their stars and lack of experience — as three of their starters are rookies.

However, as Kerr mentioned previously, the Dubs would remain competitive even their depleted lineup. Now, they even discovered a gem in Paschall.

For what it's worth, Paschall is the first Dubs rookie since Stephen Curry in 2010 to record a 30-10 game.
