Just like the rest of the NBA, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry can't believe the events that transpired on Wednesday, March 11.

The NBA suspended the season after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus — becoming the first player in the league to be infected by the deadly disease.

Following the announcement and amid the growing concern about the spread of COVID-19, Curry took it to Twitter to share his thoughts about the unprecedented developments. The Warriors sharpshooter highlighted that he doesn't want to compare the situation to anything else and instead stayed optimistic, saying that basketball will definitely be back.

The season has been suspended indefinitely as the league tries to come up with a solution to prevent the further spread of the virus. According to reports, Adam Silver and Co. will use the time off to determine the best course of action for the NBA.

Stephen Curry has only played in one game for the Warriors since returning from the hand injury that kept him out of commission for four months, so it could be frustrating for him to sit out again. He missed the Dubs' previous two games due to illness, though the team clarified that he was not infected by the coronavirus  and that his illness was only a seasonal flu.

Aside from the Warriors star, other NBA players have also expressed their shock and disbelief about the first coronavirus case in the NBA and the suspension of the season. In particular, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James shared his frustration to what has been a disastrous and tough 2020.
