Though the Golden State Warriors came out as victors against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, Stephen Curry had a horrendous shooting night — a performance that matched a certain infamous franchise record.

Per ESPN, Curry's 2-of-16 shooting night is now tied for the worst percentage by a Warriors player who shot the ball at least 15 times. His Splash Brother Klay Thompson is also part of the list, as well as David Lee, and Baron Davis.

In the Warriors' 106-105 victory, Curry just had 11 points, most of it came from the free-throw line where he was 6-of-6. He was just 1-of-10 from deep.

Lucky for Curry, his teammates decided to pick up the slack for him. Apart from him, six other Warriors scored in double figures led by Andrew Wiggins who had 17 points, along with two rebounds, four assists, and four blocks. Draymond Green filled the stat sheet with 10 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists. Damion Lee, who knocked down the game-winning free-throws had 13 points.

Curry's 11-point output marks another dip in what has been tagged as the Warriors' comeback season. In the previous game — a 115-105 victory over the LA Clippers, Curry exploded for 38 points which included nine 3-pointers. This was after he scored just 13 points off 5-of-17 shooting in a loss to the same team.

Despite this uncharacteristic series of performances from the two-time MVP, Warriors fans shouldn't be worried one bit. After all, the man scored a career-high 62 points just a few games ago. Curry is very capable of exploding on offense. Sunday was just a bad night for him.
