The Golden State Warriors shocked the NBA world early in free agency with the signing of All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins. The Evil Empire got way more evil in the eyes of most.

While many may believe the championship next season is now a foregone conclusion, there are still some questions that need answering for the Warriors and Cousins.

One of those is his role with the team and head coach Steve Kerr was asked about that this week and had this to say.

This really shouldn't surprise anyone. Zaza Pachulia started mostly at center over the last two seasons even though the Warriors changed that in the final two rounds of the playoffs as they went smaller.

A healthy Cousins shouldn't find himself on the bench behind any other center. It will be interesting however how he shapes the Warriors' offense and if he is a viable option to close out games against teams like the Rockets when going small and centerless has been the answer in the past.
