For the past three seasons, the Golden State Warriors have been the most successful team in the NBA. Having three straight Finals appearances and winning two titles over that span, their star-studded lineup has received most of the credit for their impressive run. However, Steve Kerr also deserves a lot of high praises for calling the right plays on the sidelines and making it possible for them to win as much.

With all the experience he had as a player, it can easily be thought of that he learned to design some sets from his playing days. After all, he had the chance to ride the bench while watching how the likes of Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich work from the sidelines.

Recently though, Kerr admitted that he actually stole some plays from Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

The Bulls do not have a lot of wins to show this season as they are currently rebuilding, but that does not mean Hoiberg is not capable of bringing back the franchise’s glory days. During his playing days, he suited up for three teams over his 10-year NBA career, where he even became the league’s 3-point percentage leader back in 2005.

Steve Kerr’s comments also go to show how much he respects other coaches in the league regardless of their team’s standing. The Warriors' bench tactician is also not shy to admit his admiration towards his opponents, being very comfortable in admitting that he also learns from them.
