The Golden State Warriors have announced that Klay Thompson and James Wiseman have been assigned to the G League Santa Cruz for increased practice reps.

Wiseman will be there but as of this morning, Steve Kerr said he has not played five-on-five, yet.

This is great news for the Warriors and their fans because they are already playing like the best team in basketball. They have been sensational this season as they have the best record in the NBA sitting at 17-2.

Their superstar Steph Curry has done everything in his power to keep this Golden State Warriors team at the top of the NBA. Curry is averaging 28.4 points per game and 6.9 assists on the season.

When Golden State gets both Wiseman and Klay Thompson back, the league better watch out because they are undoubtedly going to be title favorites. Thompson is arguably one of the greatest shooters of all time and getting Wiseman back will help the Warriors' interior defense, which is an area of need for them right now.

Golden State has been able to get some big play out of Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, as both of them are averaging over 18 points per game.

It's scary to think about what the Warriors are going to do when they get Thompson and Wiseman back. They have been able to play this well all season without arguably two of their best four players.
