The frustration continues to mount within the Golden State Warriors, as the team's struggles are now reaching epic proportions with a boatload of injuries and a 2-12 record.

This was on full display Sunday, with Dubs star Draymond Green caught on video getting in the face of rookie Jordan Poole, who himself had an atrocious outing for Golden State:

Green is seen in an intense discussion with Poole during a timeout, but at the end of the exchange — a one-way one at that — the veteran is seen tapping the rookie on the chest. As it turns out, Green was merely giving the youngster some verbal encouragement.

For a bit of context, Poole actually described the type of relationship he has with Green in a recent interview. According to the 6-foot-4 shooting guard, Draymond has been nothing but supportive:

“I can go to him for anything,” Poole said, via Logan Murdock of NBC Sports. “If I have any questions or we want to hang out, want to go get food. If I do something wrong, he'll tell me. If I'm doing something good, he'll encourage me. It's just kind of like a big-brother, little-brother relationship.”

That's all well and good, but at this point, Green will need to do much more than this, as his side continues on a seemingly uncontrollable downward spiral. The three-time All-Star has now become the last man standing for the Dubs, and his performances have been a disappointment of late.

Many expected Green to put up some bigger numbers in the wake of the injuries suffered by what feels like every single player on the Warriors team. However, this has not been the case for the former Defensive Player of the Year winner, who has actually seen a dip in his production this season, though he has also dealt with injuries as well.

The Warriors are in a very deep hole at the moment, and they will definitely need Draymond Green to play much better in order to have any hope of salvaging this season.
