For a young basketball prospect, Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant is a good player to aspire to become. He was the Finals MVP of the last two seasons and he's a sure-fire Hall of Famer.

KD sat down with rising stars James Wiseman and Kofi Cockburn to offer advice.

KD had this to say:

“I want both of y'all to make it to the league and y'all both got the potential to be up there. That's the shot you both need to start shooting. You gonna be playing with a Westbrook or Steph Curry or Kyrie Irving so work on your 15-footers. That's gonna keep you in the league for 20 years. If you switch out on Kyrie you can't be too cool in that moment because he's coming right at you. They giving these dudes $200-300 million to play ball and to be the best so go be the best. Y'all got any questions or anything man I'm here. Y'all can hit me on the Gram, I'm always there.”

If these kids plan to make it to the league, they should listen to Kevin Durant. The mid-range game has fallen out of favor in recent years, but it's still a shot that players need in their arsenal.

The 15-footer has been a huge part of Durant's career and it's something he's used to send shivers down the spines of defenders.

And if Wiseman and Cockburn need to get in touch with Durant they can contact him on Instagram where he's probably arguing with high school kids already.
