In his 14th All-Star Game appearance in his career, LeBron James has continued to showcase his ability on the court against the best players in the league. This saw him complete an impressive layup down the lane past both Joel Embiid and Draymond Green that garnered a unique reaction from Stephen Curry.

Granted, there wasn't the best of defense played by either Embiid or Green, it was still a flashy finish by LeBron James to adjust in mid-air to make the layup. He has made these type of plays the norm throughout his career as his size and strength have typically helped aid him in getting to the rim effectively. What has been remarkable is that the 33-year-old has been able to continue to play at a high level despite being in his 15th season in the league.

Stephen Curry can appreciate a play like this given that he has also been known to make strong finishes at the rim look easy. The fact that James is able to do make a play like this that guards typically perform speaks to the unique talent that he possesses.

James has performed quite well in the All-Star in his previous 13 appearances as he is averaging  24.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.3 steals in 29.4 minutes while shooting 51.8 percent from the floor. This includes holding the all-time marks for most points, three-pointers made, and most 20-point games with 11 in All-Star Game history.

Although Curry hasn't exactly shined on this stage, the two-time league MVP has had a share of his own flashy plays that include a floater that received a big reaction from the crowd.

That said, these two could be on the fast track for a fourth straight meeting in the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers where many more of these highlight plays could be on display once again.
