Coming off their fourth straight win, the Washington Football Team is one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. The Washington defense has been lights out over that streak, wreaking havoc for opposing quarterbacks. The Football Team defense has 12 sacks, 8 takeaways, and three touchdowns in their last four games.

The visiting Seattle Seahawks are also on a winning streak, winning three of their last four games. Sitting at 9-4, the Seahawks are tied for the division lead in the NFC West. This late in the season, every game is critical. The Seahawks are coming to play on Sunday.

This may be a contender for game of the week.

Here are four bold predictions for Washington's week 15 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks:

1. Washington Football Team will record 6 or more sacks

We will see Russell Wilson go down quite a bit in this week 15 matchup. The Seahawks offensive line has not been good this season, ranking 29th in the NFL in sacks allowed. On average, Russell Wilson goes down 3.2 times per game. This Washington defense is much better than average.

With Brandon Shell at right tackle, Montez Sweat is going to have a field day on Sunday. Not to mention the other four first-rounders on the defensive line including rookie sensation, Chase Young.

The Washington pass rush is ranked 4th in the NFL, averaging 3.1 sacks per game. That average will likely increase after week 15.

This Washington defense will get to Wilson on Sunday.

2. JD McKissic will score multiple TD's

With Gibson out for a second straight game with a toe injury, JD McKissic will step in as the feature back for the Washington Football Team. In his first start last week, McKissic had 68 on the ground and 18 through the air, a very solid contribution.

With Dwayne Haskins stepping in for injured Alex Smith, the Football Team will likely look to the run early and often. Haskins will likely look to check-downs often to keep possessions alive for Washington so McKissic's ability to play in the receiving game will be a big proponent of his impact.

McKissic will have a major role in this game, including a few touchdown appearances.

3. Washington Football Team Secondary can't stop DK Metcalf

The Washington secondary has definitely been one of the team's brighter spots this season, but DK Metcalf will change that on Sunday. Washington's cornerback play has been good, but not a single cornerback is taller than 6′ 0′. At 6′ 5′ Metcalf towers over any cornerback that the Football Team decides to match him up with.

The Football Team will be unable to stop Metcalf from making contested catches. His physicality alone will be a major issue.

In addition, the Football Team is also without starting safeties Landon Collins and Deshazor Everett, so safety help will also be hurting.

DK will dominate in the deep game and in the red zone. Get ready to see 150+ yards and two touchdowns from Metcalf.

4. Washington comes away with a win

Without Alex Smith, plenty of people are writing the Football Team off, but Dwayne Haskins may surprise some people on Sunday.

All Haskins has to do is game manage and the Football Team will have a good chance to get a win. Haskins, who was the week 1 starter, has shown real maturity on the Washington sideline. Haskins started the second half for Washington last week against the 49ers and did just enough to hang on for the win.

The Seattle pass defense is ranked dead last in the NFL, allowing 294 yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. Even with Jamal Adams back in the lineup, the Seahawks secondary is definitely the team's weak spot.

Haskins probably won't throw for 300+ yards in week 15, but he should be able to do enough to keep the offense on the field. With the Washington defense playing at such an elite level they will do just enough to win a close game at FedEx Field.

Overall

This game is looking like one of the games of the week. If the playoffs started today, this would actually be a first-round matchup in Washington.

Regardless of who gets a win in week 15, this game will have no shortage of action. Whether it's DK Metcalf, Chase Young, Terry McLaurin, or Russell Wilson- big names are going to be making big plays. This game is going to have playoff football intensity.

With both teams coming into this contest playing impressive football, it should be a very entertaining game with numerous stars ready to show out. No Alex Smith, no problem. The Washington Football Team should put up a respectable fight nevertheless against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.
