The Washington Football Team is set to face off against the dominant Green Bay Packers on Sunday. It'll be a tough matchup for this team, as they haven't quite lived up to the hype. Even so, we'll be looking at this Washington-Packers matchup with some Washington Week 7 predictions in mind.

The defense was supposed to be the strong suit for the Football Team, but they haven't been all that great. They'll need to be at their best to slow down the Packers, as Aaron Rodgers has been on a tear so far this season.

Washington has some nice weapons on the offensive end, but the team lacks consistency. Either way, we could see Antonio Gibson put up another solid performance while Terry McLaurin dominates the passing game. Additionally, if Taylor Heinicke plays well, we could see a big upset. With that said, here are four bold Washington Week 7 predictions against the Packers.

Washington Week 7 Predictions

4. Washington defense sacks Aaron Rodgers 4+ times

The Washington secondary has been mediocre at best so far this year. There is virtually no chance for them to contain Davante Adams. Instead, the Football Team should make attacking Aaron Rodgers their top priority.

A stellar pass rush can help a bad secondary appear to be much stronger. With the players Washington has within the front seven, they should be able to sack Rodgers often. This is their best bet to win the game, albeit, it's a very difficult task.

3.  Antonio Gibson eclipses 100 yards rushing

Although he's dealing with a shin injury, Antonio Gibson has looked phenomenal so far this season. If Washington hopes to have a chance, they'll need to get the run game going early and often.

Doing so allows the Football Team to control the clock, keeping the ball out of Aaron Rodgers' hands. Look for Gibson to play a vital role in the game plan on Sunday.

2. Terry McLaurin torches the Packers for 150+ yards and 2 touchdowns

It doesn't matter who is under center, Terry McLaurin is going to produce. The Football Team needs their top wideout to perform to the best of his abilities if they hope to come out on top. It's a tall order, as Green Bay has a well-balanced defensive unit.

Jaire Alexander is currently on the IR, which bodes well for McLaurin's chances of taking control of this game. Look for the ball to be thrown his way often, as Scary Terry could be in for a massive performance.

1. Taylor Heinicke leads Washington to a victory

He has a great story, but Taylor Heinicke has been inconsistent as the starting quarterback for Washington. His unpredictability makes him dangerous though, as his opponents are never sure of which version they'll play against. Even so, we could see Heinicke have a solid performance against the Packers on Sunday.

For that to happen, the Football Team must play together as a cohesive unit. Heinicke will be receiving a nice boost with Curtis Samuel back in the lineup. If Taylor Heinicke can spread the ball around, Washington could shock the world and upset the Packers in Week 7.
