Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has already taken huge leaps in recent seasons which led to his emergence as one of the league's best scorers today.

However, the 27-year-old claimed that he is far from satisfied with his game and wants to challenge himself to be at par with the level of James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry in terms of scoring.

“What James [Harden] was doing to the league the last two years, he was destroying the league. When [Kevin Durant] was scoring titles, he was destroying the league. Steph [Curry], you know. I want to get to where I'm destroying the league,” Bradley Beal said via NBC Sports. “I ain't there yet.”

“Yeah I'm putting up numbers, I'm giving my effort, I'm giving my all, but I feel like I can still do more. I can be more consistent. But there's a lot more I can do out there and I don't think I've tapped into that yet,” he said. “It's a challenge in all realms and you know I love a challenge.”

With the departure of John Wall in the offseason, Bradley Beal became the bonafide main man of the Wizards even with the arrival of the 2017 NBA MVP in Russell Westbrook. With the team's offense already set around him, he is currently leading the league in scoring with 32.9 points on 47.8% from the field to go with 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 25 games.

His stellar performance didn't go unnoticed as he was finally named as a starter in this year's All-Star game after being famously snubbed last season. Despite the individual success, Beal knows in himself that he has a lot of areas to improve on before he gets to fully dominate the league just like the NBA's other marquee stars.

More than anything, perhaps Bradley Beal will need to learn how to lead his teammates to win more games, especially after reaffirming his commitment to the Wizards numerous times despite their lowly outlook this season.

Successfully doing so will eventually help put his name in the same sentence as that of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and James Harden sooner than later.
