Kristaps Porzingis' debut with the Washington Wizards couldn't have gone any better. Returning from an injury he suffered while with the Mavs, the Latvian phenom dropped 27 points on 7 of 12 shooting from the field, along with 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. It was the kind of performance we'd see from Porzingis back in New York.

After the game, Bradley Beal congratulated Kristaps Porzingis on Twitter after his amazing Wizards debut.

Porzingis would reply shortly with a short but simple message.

Wizards fans are now salivating at the prospect of seeing these two players play together next year. It's easy to forget, but when he's healthy, Porzingis is a legitimate two-way presence. Pairing him up with one of the best on-ball creators in Bradley Beal can only bode well for them.

Unfortunately, Beal underwent major wrist surgery prior to the trade deadline. That essentially killed the Wizards star's chances to come back this season. It has led some outsiders to speculate about Beal's future, and whether he'd demand a trade any time soon. Based on how he enjoyed Porzingis' game, it's fair to say he may even leave.
