Washington Wizards rookie forward Troy Brown has not really had a great season, but then again, the Wizards have had a pretty bad year in general.

Still, he remembers one moment against the Los Angeles Lakers when he had to defend LeBron James, and that was probably a moment that he will never forget:

“I would say LeBron. When we played the Lakers here, something happened. I got switched onto him,” said Brown when asked about the most memorable event of his first year in the league, according to Fred Katz of The Athletic. “He was going baseline. It was just one of those quick moments where, ‘OK, I'm guarding LeBron James.'”

Brown, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Oregon, was originally selected by the Wizards in the first round (15th pick overall) of the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 19-year-old has played in 43 games this season and is averaging 3.7 points and 2.4 rebounds over 10.7 minutes per game while shooting 41.5 percent from the floor, 28.8 percent from three-point range and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line.

He scored a season-high 13 points during Washington's loss to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night.

The Wizards currently own a record of 30-43, and barring a drastic change in circumstances over the final few weeks of the regular season, they will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Washington, which lost John Wall for the entire season due to a torn Achilles, had made the postseason in four of the last five years going into the 2018-19 campaign.
