Sadio Mane is having a fantastic season playing for Liverpool and his national team. He won the African Cup of Nations in February, winning it for the first time with Senegal. With Liverpool, he has a chance to win a league title and a Champions League trophy this season.

Despite this great year, there are still doubts about his future with Liverpool. Reportedly, the likes of Bayern Munich are interested, given the recent rumblings that his extension talks are stalled. On that note, let's look at the three best destinations for Sadio Mane if Liverpool contract talks break down.

Top Sadio Mane destinations after Liverpool

Barcelona

With all due respect to Liverpool, they are not one of the clubs where players will automatically be regarded as one of the best. As Sadio Mane has slowly crept up in conversations for the best in the world this season, it is apparent that it will not be in Liverpool. That is especially true if Mo Salah is still there, as he is expected to extend his deal with the Reds.

One club that has seen the best is Barcelona, and if there is a time to go and a place to be, it is Barcelona in the next few years. Given the potential that this club has and the reputation it has around the footballing world, Mane would be crazy not to go to Barcelona, if there is an option to do just that.

Sadio Mane would slide right in as a versatile winger on this Barcelona squad. They have a lot of young talent coming up, but a position that might not be as strong is the wings. Ansu Fati is there, but nagging knee injuries might keep him from fulfilling his potential.

Additionally, the loan of Adama Traore has not worked out and he will be returning to England when this season finishes. Thus, Barcelona needs a stable winger and an experienced star to get some quality right away, but also remain part of the club as it comes back to European glory.

Last, but certainly not least, the Spanish league is going to be a cakewalk for a player who dominated in the EPL, as many have shown in the past. Mane should definitely consider Barcelona as his next club.

Juventus

One more club that shows that if you are not consistently at the top, people forget about you, is Juventus. The Italian giants won Serie A for nine years in a row, but a couple of early Champions League finishes paired up with the lack of domestic success made Juventus into a team that is not mentioned a ton in discussions about European powerhouses. However, Sadio Mane could be one of the changes that the Old Lady needs to be back where they belong: at the top of European football.

After signing Dusan Vlahovic, this Juventus club really only needs a few more pieces to really contend for European glory. Unfortunately, they gave up Dejan Kulusevski, who seems like a major star at Tottenham, but if they were to get Mane, the winger spot would be spoken for.

Then, it is just a matter of a midfielder and one more stable center back, and Juve would definitely be up there with the likes of Manchester City, Bayern, Real Madrid, and others. In terms of Mane, he would be playing in a noticeably weaker league with less competition, and if his EPL days are any indication, he would be even greater in Italy. It is a physical league, but one with less pace on defenders, something the rapid Mane could use to his advantage. Thus, a move to Juventus should also be on his list.

PSG

PSG are still hoping to keep Kylian Mbappe, but that looks like a done deal as days go by. If he does end up in Real Madrid colors next season, PSG should go all in on getting Sadio Mane. With all due respect to Mbappe and his greatness, Mane is a finished player and a guy hitting his prime.

Additionally, Ligue 1 could make some players look better than they actually are, so it is entirely possible that Mbappe has some negatives that were not exploited enough. Mane, on the other hand, has had an incredible career in England, the best league in the world, so he does not have any doubts about his performance.

In that light, Mane playing in Ligue 1 could mean even better numbers for the star winger. He would be playing into defenders and goalkeepers who are, with all due respect, not near the quality of ones in the EPL.

That being said, it would take some time for Mane to be adjusted fully to a new environment, but he has already spent time playing in France, so the adjustment would be easier for him. Also, PSG have all the money in the world and if Mbappe leaves, they will be scrambling for a replacement.

Thus, for all the reasons mentioned above, Mane needs to keep PSG as an option for his future, if he ends up leaving Liverpool.
