In just a couple of seasons after being drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, Cooper Kupp has become a focal point of Sean McVay's offense. Kupp was on his way to a breakout season in 2018 before tearing his ACL.

Before tearing his ACL in Week 8, Kupp had 40 receptions, 566 yards, and six touchdowns. Kupp did the majority of his damage in the slot next to Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods.

Without a doubt, the Rams have arguably the best wide receiver trio in the NFL. In 2018, Los Angeles was on their way to having the sixth receiving trio in NFL history to all have 1,000 yards receiving before Kupp got hurt.

Kupp is set to make his return in 2019 and is poised for another huge season for the Rams. Even with Cooks and Woods on the offense, Kupp should continue seeing a ton of targets in the offense. Here are three numbers to target for Cooper Kupp for the Rams in 2019.

3. 85 Receptions

Even with a plethora of other weapons on the offense, Kupp is still able to garner a ton of targets from Jared Goff. If you placed Kupp on a few other teams in the NFL, he'd be the number one guy, but for the Rams, he is likely the third option.

Goff and Kupp have built a nice connection on the field in the two seasons they've spent together. In 2017, Kupp had 62 receptions in his rookie season. Then, he followed that with a season in 2018 where he was on pace to bring in 80 receptions before going down with an injury.

This season, Kupp will assume his role on the Rams offense once again. Therefore, it's a possibility that the Rams slot receiver has a good chance of getting his career-high in receptions with at least 85 of them.

2. 8 Touchdowns

Due to being one of Goff's favorite targets, Kupp sees a bunch of attention from the Rams quarterback in scoring situations. McVay knows what type of weapon Kupp can be in the offense and continues to find ways to get him the ball.

Despite missing eight games in the 2018 season, Kupp was tied for the most receiving touchdowns on the Rams with six. In addition, Woods had six of them and Kupp even had more touchdowns than Cooks.

Coming into 2019, Kupp expects to get into the end zone at a consistent rate once again. The Rams offense was the second-highest scoring offense in 2019 and they see plenty of opportunities to score touchdowns. In McVay's offense, touchdowns are given out like Oprah was giving gifts out on her show.

1. 15 Yards Per Reception

One of the most impressive aspects of Kupp's game is his ability to gain yards after the catch. In eight games last year, Kupp managed to have 303 yards after the catch which was only two yards away from Odell Beckham Jr.

If Kupp had played the whole season, he could have racked up over 600 yards after the catch. If he had done that, Kupp could have been in the top-five of the NFL in yards after the catch.

Even in college, Kupp was known to be a tough guy to bring down for a wide receiver. After Kupp catches the ball, he has the intentions of doing anything to find a way into the end zone.

In Kupp's two seasons in the NFL, he has averaged 14.1 yards per reception. This season, Kupp will come close to tallying 15 yards per reception. In his third season in the NFL, Kupp is on track to have a career-year with the Rams.
