After watching along live as “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii secured the third spot in the four-way bout to decide on the inaugural All-Atlantic Championship of AEW – or, more realistically, watching a replay of the Japanese-held event the next morning – there was one qualifying match left for the final spot in the match set for Forbidden Door; a match with as much intrigue as it had potential to be the best bout on this particular edition of Dynamite.

In their first match together since a three-on-three bout between the House of Black and the Death Triangle at Double or Nothing, Malakai Black and the Penta of many names took to the ring yet again for a heel-on-heel bout to add some international gold to their respective trophy cases. But who would win? Would Penta join his pal PAC in the big-time match that also features Miro, or would it be Black, currently on a 7-0 winning streak as a singles competitor both in AEW and on the indies, who would earn a chance to take on his fiercest foe in AEW at the Pay-Per-View?

… yes it was Black, but goodness, that was one heck of a match.

Taking the ring in the middle of the show, Black and Penta put on a show, hitting many of their greatest hits before the former iced things out with a Black Mass kick worthy of the 1-2-3.

With Pentagon down, PAC took to the ring and sized up his foe before Miro interjected via a video package to fully set up the match, which, like the rest of the forthcoming Pay-Per-View, should be can't miss television even at twice the price.
