Los Angeles Angels phenom Shohei Ohtani just continues to amaze everybody. On Monday Ohtani and the Angels went to Yankee stadium and he got the show started early by demolishing yet another home run.

Oh, and it was his first at-bat at Yankee Stadium.
Shohei Ohtani's first at-bat at Yankee Stadium: a home run, his 26th.
This dude is unreal.

Ohtani is seriously just out of this world. He is hitting bombs, and pitching superb outings, and just anything. You name it. His stats this season are hard to believe and the Angels are sure lucky to have him.
Shohei Ohtani the hitter:
• 25 HR (2nd in MLB)
• 59 RBI (3rd in MLB)
• 1.031 OPS (3rd in MLB)Shohei Ohtani the pitcher:
• 2.58 ERA (6th in AL)
• 12.44 SO/9 (5th in AL)
• .188 opp BA (t-4th in AL)
• 33.1 SO% (5th in AL)

Now he can add a home run at Yankee Stadium to his list of accolades, which will only get bigger and bigger as his career goes on. He has already been dazzling on a daily basis, and if the Angels can turn things around, he could make an appearance in October.
While the Angels wait for the return of Mike Trout, they can at least marvel at Ohtani on a day-to-day basis. Ohtani also made the decision to participate in the MLB Home Run Derby, and who knows how many bombs he will crush during the derby.
Enjoy him while you can, no matter what team you are a fan of because he is truly special and should be in the running for MVP by the end of the season regardless of what the Angels do.
