Carmelo Anthony recently cracked the Top 10 all-time scoring list, and the Portland Trail Blazers made sure to commemorate the achievement.

During their practice on Tuesday, the Blazers surprised Melo with a custom hoop with “Top 10” printed on it. To recall, Anthony surpassed Elvin Hayes for the record, a feat that only a select few has achieved and will be able to reach in their respective careers.

After seeing the tribute, Anthony couldn't help but show his appreciation for the Blazers. He also took to Twitter to thank the team and the rest of his teammates for celebrating the momentous achievement with him.

After being almost out of the league following his exile from the Houston Rockets, the Blazers gave Carmelo Anthony a chance, and boy, it was worth the gamble. While many thought Melo's days in the league are over, the explosive scorer proved everyone wrong and showed he can  still contribute at the highest level.

Sure, he is no longer the main man as he used to be, with the Blazers relying more on Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum for scoring. However, he has fully embraced his new role with the team and even willingly come off the bench to provide scoring when needed.

Anthony may be past his prime at 36 years old, but it is clear he is not washed as many people believed. He is still one of the best scorers the league has ever  seen, and his latest achievement should make people remember how great he has been in his NBA career.
