Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is no different from other NBA players, who’ve grown wary and annoyed of aspiring Taekwondo jin Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green’s on-court antics and exploits.
That didn’t stop Lillard, however, from expressing his appreciation of the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in an Instagram post on Saturday in which he recognized Green’s selflessness, finding time to sign autographs and take some selfies with fans in Oakland with Lillard.

Green is one you could consider a pest on the hardwood with his resorting to some borderline dirty tactics to help the Warriors win games, but as Lillard has implied, Green is as good as a teammate off the court. Does this make Lillard want to play for the Warriors? Probably not. It was just last year when Lillard said that he’s got “too much pride” for him to join a super team.
