Count Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard has someone who is opposed to load management.

Lillard says he wants to play in every game assuming he's healthy. The All-Star guard says the Blazers aren't a superteam with the luxury of resting key players during the regular season:

Damian Lillard missed just two games last season. He guided the Blazers to 53 wins. Portland made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals before losing to the Golden State Warriors in four games.

Lillard is a fierce competitor. He loves competing against the best every night and doesn't want to sit out games. It's why Blazers fans love the 29-year-old Oakland native so much.

Dame averaged 25.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game last season. He shot 44.4 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from beyond the arc and 91.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Lillard's stellar season netted him a $196 million extension this summer, keeping him with the Blazers for the long haul.

As is the case every season in Portland, the Blazers will go as far as Lillard and CJ McCollum can take them. Portland gave McCollum a $100 million extension this offseason. The franchise knows how important Dame and CJ are to them.
