Many players in the NBA make great use of their bodies to display tremendous art work in the form of tattoos. One of the most-tatted-up players in the league is Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers. Lillard has all manner of imagery displayed on his arms, shoulders and torso.

Now, the tables have turned, as a Lillard super fan got an image of Lillard tattooed on his arm. The two finally met before the Blazers’ game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night:

Lillard is once again having a brilliant season for the Blazers, helping to drag yet another underwhelming team to a better record than one would expect. However, Portland currently sits with a 16-24 record, which is 11th in the West.

For his part, the 29-year-old Lillard is having an incredible season. It's one that could easily be deemed the best in his eight-year career. Lillard is putting up a career high in true shooting percentage at 60.2 percent and is just off his best mark in Player Efficiency Rating with a 24.5

Normally, when a player’s true shooting percentage goes up, it comes at the expense of three-pointer. But that is not the case with Lillard, who is putting up the highest three-point attempt rate of his career at 49.8 percent. The lifelong Blazer is not just a gunner, however, as he is close to his career-high in assist rate at 33.1 percent.

Lillard’s per-game numbers help to underscore his brilliant 2019-20 campaign. He's averaging 26.7 PPG, 7.6 APG, 4.1 RPG, 0.9 SPG and 0.4 BPG. Definitely tattoo-worthy.
