Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts reportedly has some reservations about Carmelo Anthony being on the team, according to Stephen A. Smith of ESPN.

Smith is reporting Anthony's agent has spoken to the Blazers, along with the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers:

“Right now from what I'm hearing, Terry Stotts has some reservations about Melo being in Portland,” Smith said on ESPN's “First Take” Thursday. “I don't know if that's finite or not, but he does have some reservations, along with others.”

Blazers star Damian Lillard has spoken up for Carmelo Anthony in the past, as has CJ McCollum. However, if Terry Stotts and members of the coaching staff and front office don't think Anthony would be a good fit in Portland, it really doesn't matter what Lillard and McCollum think about Melo since they don't have final say on roster decisions.

Anthony played in just 10 games with the Houston Rockets last season before the franchise exiled him in November and then traded him to the Chicago Bulls in January. The Bulls waived Melo in February.

The 10-time All-Star and future Hall of Famer averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds with the Rockets while shooting 40.5 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from beyond the arc and 68.2 percent from the free-throw line.
