Avenger Infinity War's tiniest and arguably most viral cast member has been selected for the upcoming Borderlands movie adaptation. Ariana Greenblatt, the actress behind Young Gamora, plays demolitions expert Tiny Tina in the upcoming Borderlands movie. Greenblatt played a timid and scared alien child in Avengers but she will have to change gears for her upcoming role. She joins Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black.

Director Eli Roth praised Greenblatt's take on the small NPC. The young actress allegedly struck a chord with the film's production team from her first audition.

“Ariana is a spectacular new talent in cinema. She has already worked with many of my close collaborators and… She blew us all away in her audition, and I cannot wait to see her bring the wild, insane, and unpredictable Tiny Tina to the big screen.”

Tiny Tina debuted for the first time in the franchise during the events of Borderlands 2. She only appears briefly to offer a helping hand to the Vault Hunters but her manic and bubbly personality has left a lasting mark on numerous players.

The addition of a minor NPC to the film adaptation indicates the expansion of her role in the story. Naturally, the film adaptation won't follow every game's plotline exactly but fans can only hope and speculate. Cat Blanchett plays Lilith in the film while Kevin Hart fills in for the commando Roland. Jamie Lee Curtis plays the trouble Dr. Tannis, with Jack Black providing the voice for the iconic robot sidekick Claptrap.

Greenblatt must have performed admirably in her audition to have garnered such definite praise from the film's director. Hopefully, she'll be able to bring the amount of energy and chaos that's a must when it comes to Tiny Tina.
