Jerry Jeudy has missed the Denver Broncos' past six games due to the ankle injury he suffered in their season opener against the New York Giants. Fortunately for the team, the young wide receiver is now available to return.

According to James Palmer of NFL Network, Jeudy has been elevated to the active 53-man roster for Sunday's Week 8 game against the Washington Football Team. His availability is a much-needed offensive boost for the Broncos, who have now lost four straight after starting the 2021 campaign on a high note with three wins in a row.

Jerry Jeudy is a crucial part of the Broncos' offense, and there is no doubt he'll be a huge help on a Broncos attack that hasn't scored more than 20 points in three of the past four outings.

The 22-year-old had six receptions for 72 yards during their opening game against the Giants, and he certainly could have more had it not been for his injury early in the third quarter of the contest.

Of course there are naturally concerns about his condition after more than a month and half without football. His ankle injury also looked serious on replays of the video, so its hard to ease the concerns of fans and experts as he returns to the field.

For what it's worth, though, the Broncos already expected Jeudy to suit up for the Week 8 showdown with Washington. Head coach Vic Fangio even said that they “didn't think it was prudent to play him with no practice.”

Hopefully, Jeudy's return will be enough to help Denver break their skid. If not, it could put the Broncos in a whole lot of trouble.
