Kareem Hunt and Antonio Callaway are raining on the fiery and much-hyped preseason the Cleveland Browns are currently having.

The two players will be suspended for eight and four weeks, respectively. The reasons for their suspension are different, but their absence will put a lot of harm in the team's offensive prowess.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported that the Cleveland coaching staff is looking into whether they can keep the two around the team. They have reportedly asked for permission from the league:

“That has not made public yet so all that has to go through the league office,” coach Freddie Kitchens told reporters on Tuesday. “We are not privy to answering questions for them.”

“If we were in fact able to do it, it would be because one of the good reasons will be because Antonio is recovering from an ankle injury,” Kitchens said. “To make sure that he gets the proper medical care and stuff like that and the treatment, that would benefit the person as much as anything.”
Kareem Hunt will be missing time because he violated the league's Personal Conduct Policy. He was caught in a video pushing and kicking a woman in a Cleveland hotel in February. He personally apologized for his mistake through a Browns statement.
Meanwhile, Callaway is suspended for violating the league's substance abuse rule. Like his teammate, the young wide receiver also expressed his apologies to the fans.
However, it's not the end of the world for the Browns offense. They have one of the league's most dangerous attack force. Nick Chubb has proven himself as a slick running back. They also have outstanding receivers in Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. Baker Mayfield's accurate arm completes the team.
However, the team could not wait for their suspensions to be over so they can contribute right away.
