The past several months have been fruitful for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his team, to say the least. After a thrilling victory in Super Bowl 56 three weeks ago, the 43-year-old playmaker then pondered on what he should do in the next five months before returning to training camp in July.

Looking back in hindsight, the 2020 NFL season has been one of the biggest years in Brady's illustrious career. He decided to go out of his comfort zone and left the New England Patriots after spending the past two decades with the team. It was a brave thing to do for him since there is certainly no assurance that he can carry over the success that he previously attained in Foxborough onto his new team.

However, even with shortened offseason preparations and a new playbook, Brady still managed to be at the top of his game in his debut campaign with the Buccaneers. He easily formed chemistry with his new teammates and even resurrected the careers of Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, and Antonio Brown in the process of doing so.

Head coach Bruce Arians and his squad eventually finished the regular season with an 11-5 record for the second spot in the NFC South. They also toppled capable opponents in the Washington Football Team, New Orleans Saints, and the Green Bay Packers en route to a trip to the Super Bowl.

In the championship stage, Brady and the rest of the Buccaneers executed on both ends of the field as they dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs to claim their second title in franchise history. The veteran gunslinger then added more hardware to his collection as he snagged the seventh Super Bowl title and fifth Super Bowl MVP award of his career.

Heading onto his 22nd season in the league, Tom Brady is certainly raring to run it back with his teammates and vie for their second straight Super Bowl title in 2021.
