The Milwaukee Bucks came out in Game 1 with something to prove. Giannis Antetokounmpo and company stole a win from Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on their home court despite Khris Middleton's MCL injury. The Bucks won 101-89 and put themselves ahead in their next series in the NBA playoffs.

Antetokounmpo did record the second triple-double in the playoffs of his career, which is a new Bucks record, but did not have his best game. He had a difficult time shooting against Boston's stingy defense. Still, he made the right reads to make them pay and punctuated the Bucks' statement win with an epic highlight.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Antetokounmpoo stuck it to the Celtics with an alley-oop off the backboard to himself.

Although the Celtics executed their game plan and bodied Antetokoumpo whenever they could, Milwaukee still took the win because of Giannis' great playmaking and a 25-point performance from Jrue Holiday. Antetokounmpo finished with 24 points on 9-25 shooting, 13 rebounds and 12 assists.

The Bucks came out to play and showed the Celtics they still have a great defense, too. Boston shot 33.3 percent from the floor, Tatum shot 6-18 and Jaylen Brown shot 4-13. Milwaukee had a lot of doubts around them after losing one of their key scores to injuries but showed once again that they are still a very good squad.

The Bucks taking the first game of the series is huge. Heading back to Milwaukee ahead or tied up will be monumental for their chances of advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals.
