Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown enough so far in his still rising NBA career to prove he’s more cyborg and less human. The Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward hybrid is something that you’d think was created in an underground laboratory but if that’s the case, scientists might have forgotten to tweak a part of Antetokounmpo’s DNA that would’ve given him a great shooting touch.

Enter NBA legend and former Indiana Pacers’ hotshot, Reggie Miller.

In an interview with DIME Magazine, Miller told the show’s hosts that given the chance to reincarnate as an NBA player, he’d like to be Antetokounmpo but still retaining the feathery touch from the perimeter that made him one of the best scorers and shooters the league has ever seen.

Here’s part of the transcript made by Uproxx from that interview:

“I tell people, if there are basketball gods, I want to come back as Giannis Antetokounmpo in my next life,” Miller said. “The only thing I want to add, I want Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game but my jump shot. No one would be able to touch me. No one!”

Miller was even so confident of the hypothetical combination of his shooting prowess and Antetokounmpo’s game that he thinks that version of himself would be too much for the great Michael Jordan to handle.

“I would destroy the great Michael Jordan if I had Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game and my jump shot! That’s all I want. It’s not asking a lot, is it?!”

Antetokounmpo owns an atrocious 16.7 percent shooting from the three-point area through the first three games of the season so clearly, Miller was right. Miller was a deadly outside threat as he finished his 18-year NBA career with an astounding 39.5 percent three-point shooting.

But come on, let’s not dream of Antetokounmpo having that kind of touch from the outside. That would just be unfair.
