The Milwaukee BucksGiannis Antetokounmpo took dunking over a player literally after he went over the head of the New York Knicks’ Tim Hardaway Jr. Wednesday night. The moment came as a shock to Hardaway who suddenly saw Antetokounmpo flying on top of him.

The play happened in the third quarter with the Bucks leading 60-50. After securing the rebound, the Bucks ran a fastbreak with Khris Middleton as the playmaker and Hardaway guarding him. After he reached the foul line, Middleton tossed an alley-oop to Antetokounmpo on the right side of the lane where he jumped directly on top of Hardaway before flushing it home for the one-handed slam.

Even the Madison Square Garden crowd was in awe of the 6-foot-11 forward whose athleticism is a wonder to behold.

The Bucks defeated the Knicks 103-89. Antetokounmpo finished the game with 23 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and one steal in 35 minutes of action.

Milwaukee has won seven of its last eight games since Jason Kidd was fired as head coach. Antetokounmpo, who was close to Kidd, has been playing excellent basketball all season long, but he seems to have taken it a notch higher lately.

In a win over the New Jersey Nets, he poured in 41 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. In the next game versus the Chicago Bulls, he nearly had a triple-double with 27 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. The following day, Antetokounmpo led the team to another win with 31 points, 18 rebounds, and six assists against the young Philadelphia 76ers.

Things are looking up for the Bucks as they are now in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 30-23 record.

With Antetokounmpo playing like a man possessed, the Bucks are making a lot of noise leading to the All-Star break next week.
