Team Giannis and Team LeBron are no longer playing around with the last quarter on the way. With the game on the line, defense has been key for both sides, and captain Giannis Antetokounmpo seems to think so. Consequently, he electrified the crowd as he blocked fellow captain LeBron James’ attempted fadeaway jumper.

In the new format that honors the late Lakers icon Kobe Bryant’s retired No. 24 jersey, the two teams played the fourth period untimed. The new rules now state that the first to score the higher three-quarter scoring total plus 24, in honor of Kobe’s retired jersey, wins the game.

Unfortunately for Team Giannis, their very own Kyle Lowry was called for a costly personal foul after drawing a crucial offensive charge against James Harden earlier. LeBron’s Lakers teammate Anthony Davis then sealed the game with a free throw, winning the heated game 157-155. Team LeBron’s Kawhi Leonard contributed to the win with a game-high 30 points. Giannis, on the other hand, led his team with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
