Boston Celtics swingman Gordon Hayward took to Twitter to let the world know that he's back. He's back and excited for his first real season in a kelly green Celtics uniform. His first year with Boston was cut tragically short just minutes into the first NBA game of the season last year. He suffered a gruesome leg injury and spent the last year working his way back to this moment.

Hayward will make his much-anticipated debut against the Philadelphia 76ers. This is actually Hayward's second highly anticipated debut, but there is even more excitement around the tea this time around,
Boston outperformed nearly everyone's expectations last season. After Hayward was sidelined for the season, many felt the Celtics would struggle. Hardly. Kyrie Irving led the Celtics alongside Al Horford and the team looked better than anyone could have imagined.
But then Boston lost Irving for the year and its chances at a deep playoff run looked bleak. But the young talent coalesced around Brad Stevens and they shocked the world by advancing to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. They fell to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but Boston outperformed even their own fans' wildest expectations.
Now Hayward and Irving return to the floor, and the Celtics are one of the favorites to advance to the NBA Finals. How Hayward performs in his first real season with the Celtics will be crucial to the team's playoff success. If he can regain his All-Star form, Boston will be a formidable foe for any opponent on the opposite sideline.
