It’s long been established that Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier has a lot of belief in his own abilities. This summer alone, he was confident he wasn’t going to get traded, which turned out to be correct, and also said Kyrie Irving would learn a lot of things from him.

As it turns out, his teammate, Jaylen Brown, also thinks very highly of Rozier’s abilities. In a video Jay King of MassLive.com posted on Twitter, Brown even called Rozier one of the best guards in the league based on sheer ability.

Brown notes how shifty and hard to guard Rozier is and that he is athletic and gets after it on defense. While Rozier wasn’t able to get many opportunities to show what he could do last year, Brown thinks the third-year guard can flourish if he gets more time on the court.

Brown’s comments came shortly after Rozier, who got the start in place of the rested Irving, had 15 points and 10 assists in the Celtics’ 113-96 preseason win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

While Brown is likely overestimating Rozier's abilities by proclaiming him as one of the best guards in the NBA, he may have a point in terms of Rozier being better than people realize and would shine with more playing time.

The only problem, though, is Rozier could still find it tough to get enough opportunities to consistently showcase those talents playing behind Irving all season.
