The “#FreeJah” movement continues to make waves in the NBA, as talks about Jahlil Okafor possibly getting traded soon is gathering more steam by the day. There have also been some players who’ve given their support for him, including Devin Booker, who recently made it known that he also wants to see the Philadelphia 76ers big man play for another team.

Now, a new player has promoted Booker’s belief, as Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum also took to his Twitter account to post his agreement with the Phoenix Suns shooting guard’s thoughts.

Tatum and Okafor are both products of Duke University, and played under legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski. That could explain why they share a bond, as their ties with the school is enough reason for the Celtics rookie to believe that the Sixers big man is better off traded, even if they were not able to play together.

Jahlil Okafor is only in his third season as a pro. He definitely has a lot more to contribute, and a change of scenery could just be what he needs to regain the stature he once held as one of the more promising centers in the NBA.
