Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler will be active in his team's AFC Wild Card Round matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Ekeler has been dealing with a groin injury. He will work out pre-game and is currently listed as questionable.

On the year, Ekeler rushed for 554 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 5.2 yards per carry, providing the Chargers with a capable backup behind Melvin Gordon. In addition, he hauled in 39 receptions for 404 yards and three scores.

The 23-year-old, who played his collegiate football at tiny Western Colorado University, went undrafted but signed with Los Angeles as a free agent in May 2017.

He played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign, finishing with 260 yards and a couple of touchdowns, registering 5.5 yards per attempt. He also caught 27 passes for 279 yards while reaching the end zone three times as a receiver.

The Chargers won 12 games on the year to tie the Kansas City Chiefs for the best record in the AFC. However, due to tiebreakers, the Chiefs captured the AFC West division title, resulting in Los Angeles having to settle for a Wild Card spot.

This is the Bolts' first playoff appearance since 2013 and only their second postseason appearance since 2009.

The Chargers started out the season 1-2, but won 10 of their next 11 games to vault themselves into the NFL's elite.

Los Angeles hosted the Ravens back in Week 16, falling by a score of 22-10. Now, the Chargers will have a chance to get some revenge on Baltimore's home field.
