Keenan Allen did not practice on Thursday or Friday as he deals with a hamstring injury, but it appears he will be suiting up for the Los Angeles Chargers. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, he is going to attempt to play against the Chicago Bears for Sunday's Week 8 tilt.

Though active, the Chargers will have to see how effective he can be. Allen will likely be limited for a must-win matchup for the Bolts. He was considered to be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup, considering he sat the final two practices of the week.

Having Allen on-board for Sunday is a win for the Chargers offense. On the year, the two-time Pro Bowler has 44 receptions for 564 yards and three touchdowns. He is one of just four players with 70 or more targets on the season.

With Dontrelle Inman and Travis Benjamin on injured reserve, the Chargers are thin at wide receiver. If out, Los Angeles would have had to rely on Mike Williams, Geremy Davis and Andre Patton as their receivers on Sunday.

Since 2013, Allen has dealt with his fair share of injuries. In his first four years in the league, he missed 26 games. Despite such, Philip Rivers has made Allen his favorite target in the Chargers' offense.

As for the Chargers' inactives, kicker Michael Badgley, quarterback Easton Stick, running back Justin Jackson, linebacker Jatavis Brown, defensive tackle Brandon Mebane, defensive tackle Brandon Jones and defensive tackle Cortez Broughton all will not suit up for Sunday's out of conference matchup.
