Veteran forward Marcus Morris will be making his Los Angeles Clippers debut on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Clippers recently acquired Morris in a three-team trade with the New York Knicks and the Washington Wizards.

In 43 games with the Knicks, Morris averaged 19.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 32.3 minutes. He shot 44.2 percent from the field, 43.9 percent from beyond the arc and 82.3 percent from the free-throw line.

However, those stats are most likely going to take a dip with the Clippers. He'll most likely be a third or even a fourth option on offense for the the LA franchise that boasts players like Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Lou Williams. Nonetheless, Morris has already stated that he's not trying to average 19 points per game as he did with Knicks.

“I’m not trying to average 19 points per game as I did with the Knicks, I’m just here to fill a role and help them out by bringing that dog mentality I have with me,” Morris shared. “You know we got guys that are extremely talented offensively and defensively and I just think I add to that.”

The Clippers are currently the third seed in the Western Conference with a 36-15 record. They are only three and a half games behind the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers. However, they have already beat them twice this season.

Leonard and guard Patrick Beverley will not be playing against the Cavs. With that said, it'll be interesting to see how Marcus Morris plays in his first game in a Clippers jersey.
